Tragedy to Transformation - Sandy Hook and Tree of Life Synagogue

A discussion with Sandy Hook Promise Co-founder and CEO Nicole Hockley and Tree of Life Congregant and Co-chair of the Remember, Rebuild, Renew Campaign, Jeffrey Solomon.

This year marks the 10th remembrance of the Sandy Hook Elementary School Massacre, which took the life of 20 students and six educators.  President Obama has called that day "The single darkest day of my Presidency".

Moderated by LT member Kevin Wassong, this event will dive deeper into these unimaginable tragedies and the epidemic of gun violence that has gripped America. We will discuss what Sandy Hook Promise is doing to change the narrative, address mental health, and gun legislation in the US, and what Jeff and members at Tree of Life are doing to ensure we find meaningful solutions to a tragic problem. 

Through people like Nicole and Jeff, we don't lose hope and turn towards solutions that can change the future for the next generation.
